Just got my stg556 and tried to sight it in this weekend. Had problems adjusting it vertically and it’s at the limit horizontally. the optic is also way too low for a proper sight picture. On the cosmetic front, the markings are double stamped.

The STG556 optic is too low, that’s why the changed the optics on the E4 to the higher “AUG” height.
I’d suggest getting a E4 rail and going with a scope or red dot sight for better sight acquisition.
If you have a STG and the optic is to low, really the best thing for you to do is to purchase a top rail and use a scope with rings that suit you. We no longer produce either of our factory optics.
