Hey guys, I remember a recent thread where someone had an overly tight Noveske lower to upper fit.
Well, I’m having a similar problem with a Noveske 18" SPR midlength upper on a Noveske lower. However, not only is the fit super tight requiring essentially hammering the pins with a punch to push them through, but the lower also won’t seat Colt AR15 20 round mags, and Thermold 30 round mags. In comparison a Colt 6920 seats all such mags with no problems at all.
The rifle hasn’t been fired, and I was thinking that it would loosen up after some rounds downrange, however more concerning is the fact that some mags won’t properly seat.
Any suggestions?
