Primer Filler?

I don’t have the parts for my homemade Vibra-Prime here yet, but I did receive my 3 extra primer filler tubes yesterday.

I immediately put my 5-yr-old to work filling primer tubes. After three tubes (300 primers) she was ready to quit, but I got her to do a fourth (another hundred) before she really gave up. Then she finished off the fifth for me after I did most of it. It wasn’t bad.

You should have kept it… somebody (not me!) has bid the one on eBay up over $50, with four days to go.

BTW, that Vibra-Prime on eBay is now over $150…

That’s effen crazy $150 plus $14 shipping for essentially something that cost maybe $10 to mass produce, is no longer available, has no warranty. :fie:

Yes, what people pay for stuff on eBay is nuts… the competition aspect of it seems to drive up prices way past any rational value.

BTW, today I received from a guy over on TFL the cast-off trays from an old Lee Auto Prime, so that I can build my own Auto-Prime.

I showed the parts to my five-year-old, and she immediately understood how this is going to be better than hen-pecking…

LOVE my RF100. The cost to me has been well worth it over the years, due to the time saved.

It maximizes what I can do with my 1050 and 650.

You do have to adjut the RF100 to avoid the problem of primers going in upside down (between 1 and 5 percent), which took me awhile to solve. Now it’s down to less than 1 percent.

Get the RF100. You will be glad you did.
