I’m really considering purchasing one of these for my M&P 2.0. The price itself doesn’t scare me too much but I’m looking for anyone currently using one and their thoughts on it. I would be using it for starting USPSA matches and the night stand gun.
Let me start by saying that I’m not familiar with it. At that price, why not an Aimpoint Acro P2 instead?
Just watched a video on it. My first thought was that it’s too short window wise for my pistol shooting, but the out of view correction ring is a very interesting idea.
You can get the Primary Arms ACSS Vulcan reticle (correction ring) on a few Holosun models that PA sells as well.
I wonder how well that system would work. It’s a really interesting idea.
Tried one of the Vulcans a few years back after getting past the learning curve with a Holosun 508 and/or 509 and I think the Vulcan setup is a plus with dots that require suppressor height sights.
I still prefer the dots that align with standard height sights(such as the Holosun SCS) better though.
The SCS is the best dot ever. It’s just too small of a window for me. My dream dot would be a 507 Comp sized version of the SCS MOS.
I really like my Trijicon RCR. Enclosed. Big window. Known reliability. Same price.
I’m a little surprised so few people seemed to know about these. I guess no one having one is kind of a clue. As for the Acro, I’d just as soon wait and see if they actually release a slide with the COA. A friend has the rmr hd and it’s nice, but again I think I’d prefer a COA. My main concern would be the window size and since these aren’t an item stores stock it’s not like you can really see one in person to start
Yeah. And even if there was a floor model to check out, I probably wouldn’t even know the feature was there and pass on picking it up to try.
Very low deck height, cowitness with the factory sights.
This one is on my Sig P211.
I like the 2032 battery also.
This specific sight, however, failed at 700rds and is back at Primary Arms as of a couple of days ago. I’ll see how the warranty process works and hope the replacement works out.

That is correct.
