Given that a 1911 safety is a fitted part, you might have better luck if you could clarify if this unit was simply dropped into your pistol and subsequently removed without any modification, or if it was actually fitted to your pistol (i.e. presumably with some material removed) and then pulled out. Don’t know too many guys that are going to want to roll the dice on a unit that has already had a file applied to it. If not, then there is no reason why this shouldn’t sell; especially for a guy looking for a retro or Colt OEM style part.
