Price check Pre Ban H Bar Green Label Colt

Friends…I am a new here so be kind to me…:smiley: I ran into an AR for sale Pre Ban, Green label, H bar colt…with box $1,000. It is not exactly what I was looking for but thought I would check and see what the pluses or minuses were and how the price sounded?

New or used, and if used what condition?
Realize this was built with a heavy 20" barrel, most likely a fixed carrying handle, not exactly a carbine.

Great gun, at an outstanding price! I used to have one, and sold it (with no box) for $1400.

True, its not a carbine…but then again, its not meant to be. For $1k I’d buy it! Nice find!
