Just came back from a southern Ohio pheasant hunt at Cherry Bend. It’s the first time in a while I got the chance to do any pheasant hunting and needed it as deer season wasn’t productive for me this year.
This was the first time I hunted at Cherry Bend and really enjoyed it. We used their dogs as ours weren’t nearly as experienced. I think good dogs make or break a hunt and they didn’t disappoint. All-in-all, we got around 30 birds on the day.
If you’re ever in the area and want a great bird hunting experience without heading to South Dakota, I’d recommend Cherry Bend.
