Hey guys,
quick question…
Those of you who have experience with daewoo rifles please share your thoughts.
What are the pros and cons of doing a conversion vs just buying a pre-ban?
Is it to save money, or is there something else I am missing?
today on gun broker I found a mint unfired daewoo max 2 for $1500
the d200’s were going for $900-1000 and they have ace folding stocks and are 922r compliant.
I know this may sound like a silly question, but is there any difference in the two except the ace stock/ paddle stock?
With the K2, you’re getting the original folding stock, flash hider, and bayonet lug.
The DR200 comes with a thumbhole stock, pinned muzzle device, and no lug.
922r applies to the Daewoo, so be aware when adding folding stocks, flash hiders, etc.
IIRC some or all of the DR200s were 1-12" twist where the K2 was 1-7.7".
Hmm that is something to think about as well. I just bought a bunch of 55gr so maybe the 1-12" would be good for the lighter projectiles.
Does anyone know if daewoorifleparts.com is a good place to get spare parts from? I’m noty going to buy the rifle unless I can get the spare parts listed on their site.
Daewoorifleparts is good people.I have bought several parts from Derek. But Daewoos rarely break.I have both a K2 and a converted DR200.Never broke anything on either one.
