Initial reports are that it started out as a traffic stop and developed into 2 HPD officers killed. No real news yet except that a patrol car was stolen by the 2 thugs. Car was found abandoned downtown @ the train depot. Unsure if any other weapons were seized by the low lifes. Let’s hope these a-holes don’t decide to hole up somewhere and shoot it out. Hattiesburg (town of around 50K) is pretty much on lock down right now. This hits home as it is only a few minutes from where I am. Pray for Hattiesburg PD & the officers families. Be safe out there ALL who are on duty.
This shit is really starting to piss me off. Maybe I’m a little touchy right now since a neighboring agency buried one of their Sgts today and I was at the funeral and part of the procession. He was shot in the head by the dirtbag who then stole his car and tried to flee. Luckily he tried to hide above the axles of a semi and K9 found him.
There is no such thing as a “routine traffic stop”.

Yeah that was horrible. I will say though, the community up here is so incredible with their love and support for Law Enforcement. After the funeral, every place I ran to for errands was taking donations for the kids and the family. Damn proud of our community up here.
Sierra “C-Babi” McCurdy, of Laurel, Miss., ultimately lost her job because she praised the cold-blooded murders of Hattiesburg cops Benjamin Deen, 34, and Liquori Tate, 25, after they were gunned down in the line of duty during a routine traffic stop Saturday night.
“2 police officers was shot in hattiesburg tonight…GOT EM,” the Subway employee exulted on Facebook. “We can turn this bxtch into Baltimore real quick….Police take away innocent people lives everyday now & get away w/ it, fxck them…no mercy.”
Pretty sad that this behavior is normal in some cultures.
‘Babi’ was taken care of. We threw such a fit about her post that she was fired. The day after her idiot post I went down to the Subway she worked at looking for her and the manager. She had decided to ‘leave early’ that day:) No Subway manager either. Ended up chatting with a WalMart manager as the restaurant is in Wally World and asking who owns that particular Subway. The dude didn’t have to look. He whipped out a notepad with her name & #. He had had so many people calling/coming by to raise hell about this sandwich artist that he already had it ready to go when I asked for it.
Here is the kicker. After she was fired and her FB page blew up she went to the PD to file cyber bullying charges! Yeah a warm reception she did not get. Next up the local newspaper has a front page story on her antics. Again she rolls up to the newspaper agency and I heard raised holy hell with enough cuss words to make a Ranger blush. Screw her.
