Patriot Performance Materials sent me one of their “shorty” bags awhile back for T&E. These are probably one of the best discreet cases on the market today IMHO. The materials used, fit/finish and execution are some of the best I have see to date.
The case is made for a 10.5 with a regular FS. It has a massive industrial strength velcro flap at the top that allows for quick and easy access to the weapon. Molle webbing on the outside allows for mounting of pouches. Padding is thick on all sides and the interior pads come out if needed. There is a large zipper around the case which allows you to open it up flat for drying and or to remove dirt/sand. It comes with a carry strap and velcro above the flap and below the carry handles for unit patches and name tags.
This case is 100% made in the US, by a US owned company.
Hmm, too bad they didn’t add an inch. Any idea if an 11.5" could be crammed in there? Are there any options for custom color orders (like blue or red) to be truly “discrete”?
What is the height of the case? I’d be using it for a trunk rifle. It would need to accomodate an Aimpoint in a Larue cantilever mount and two inserted mags (Redimag). Been looking for such a beast, but most cases are too tight a fit when running “cruiser ready” (mags inserted, chamber empty) as per our general orders.
Right now, I have something that works ok, but always looking for better solutions…
Grant, will PPM make a custom case for a 16.0’’ /14.5’’ M4 with a 30rd.mag and a Aimpoint in a LaRue QD LT-150?? I am looking for a soft case for a 33-34’’ M4 with molle attaments on it.
Grant, did you ever receive any of the 30" cases? These will fit a 10.5" with a KX3, right? Do you have any in stock, preferably in Coyote Brown? If not, do you plan on getting any more in the near future?
