C’mon guys. Let’s not stoop to that level. There are enough substantive problems with Obama without making ourselves look like the lesser men. Don’t give people ammuntion to use against gun owners. Hold ourselves to higher standards.
It is NOT funny and it also indicates a subtext of a lot of this election – that white people have something to “Make up” to black people for slavery – you know, that thing we had a civil war to stop only 80 years after we got independence from our mother country? The thing that MOST of the people living in America now whose families emigrated here legally AFTER that even had NOTHING to do with?
White or black, if you think that this joke is funny or even ironic, you have NOT been paying attention for the last one hundred years.
Sadly, in a lot of black schools, (where they are taught that Lincoln was a Democrat)

i know what you mean. reperations for non-slaves by non-slave owners. thats the mentality. my family came here in 1908 from germany. we didnt have nothing to do with any of that shit, but were blamed. it was payback, just like oj’s aquittal. how else do expain obama getting 95% of the black vote. could you imagine if 95% of white people voted for mccain? what would be said of us?
