I wet to the range today and thought I would install a carry handle to compare the sights to my magpul flip up rear sight. I sighted in at 100 yards and by the time I was done adjusting for drift, the rear aperture sight is way the hell off to the left. The rifle (a Colt LE 6920) is lazered in on the target and is completely on. Everything appears to be tight and I did not see any shots drifting. The rear aperture is at least 1/8 (probably more) inch off the center mark.
This is bothering the shit out of me. Is this normal or is this a sign that the whole carry handle is out of whack somehow. I should strings from 100 yards to 3 yards and all the bullets were going exactly where I wanted them to.
This this normal or is something screwy going on? The carry handle looks squarely mounted. What gives.
