Possible new build

I have the BRD and now want to begin a project/custom build. I have spec’d out parts and wanted to know what you all think.

Upper:
BCM or LMT 16” M4 ($500) (1 in 7 twist, 16”, Chromed lined, 5.56mm)
BCM charging handle w/ Badger Tac latch ($50 (GR Tactical and Bravo Co)
Daniel Defense Omega 7.0 handguards ($250)
TangoDown QUICK DETACH Vertical Grip, BLACK ($81 Bravo Co)
Buis take down rear sights (MI SPLP Low Profile Iron Sight $120 Bravo Co)
Buis take down front sight (MI Folding Front Sight Rail Mount $80 Bravo Co)
BCM Detachable handle with rear sight ($110) would need also LMT Fixed Front Sight $50 Bravo Co)
Lower:
LMT Defender Lower with SOPMOD Stock and Two Stage Trigger Complete lower receiver which includes: Semi Auto 2Stage Trigger, SOPMOD Buttstock and Ergo Pistol Grip. ($511 from Grandtactical.com/$531 from LMT)
Scope:
EOTech 552 (LaRue Tactical $560 / GG&G tactical $480)

I should begin buying parts next month. Also what special tools should I have on hand? I am going to get some brass punches and a rubber hammer as my current rifle is very tight when putting the upper on the lower (takedown pin–I haven’t removed the pivot pin yet).

Looks good. Good luck finding the barrel and lower unless you already have them. Also, noticed you mentioned BUIS and a carry handle…which are you planning on going with? If you plan to have an optic, go with a flat top. The handles are nice if you’re going for the KISS or retro theme, but with modern flip up sights and optics, it’s not really necessary.
