I read this earlier. Seems the general manager made every effort to smooth things over and apologize for the dope who tried to boot them but the 5 detectives insisted on going public anyway. Seems to me like 6 people were in the wrong here…

I was about to agree with you when I realized, fuck that stupid customer who complained and the pansy-assed manager who tried to make the detective leave! I’m not pissed at Denny’s or the GM, but the hypocritical, self-righteous asshats in this country that think their delicate sensibilities ought to be mollycoddled. Were I the manager, I’d have told the complainant that they were free to leave the premises if their so afraid of a gun, they can’t keep it to themselves.

We have got to start re-framing the debate and let people know this type of self-righteous, self-absorbed behavior shouldn’t be tolerated! :mad:

Oh it was a customer who complained? Ugh. I thought it was just some self righteous manager. I should have read more. Either way, it seems like the GM tried to do the right thing, but who knows the whole story.
