Aiken (WLTX) - Aiken police are searching for a suspect who they say robbed a bank with an assault handgun.
Officers say around noon Friday, a suspect walked into the S.C. State Credit Union on Beaufort Street in Aiken.
According to investigators, the suspect was armed with what appears to be a Tec-9, a semi-automatic handgun. Officers say the man cursed at two tellers and threatened to shoot them both.
He then left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
Officers have released surveillance photos of the suspect. Those images are attached to this article.
After reviewing those picks, does ANYONE see a “Tec 9” pistol in his hand? Who reviewed those pics, and who wrote that article?

i was in portland on business with my buddy a couple weeks ago, rolling through the 'hood and decided to stop at a pawn shop and see what they had. straight up gangsta shit… several tec9s, a bushmaster carbon pistol dripping CAA and UTG (including a VFG [i didnt bother]), a bunch of hipoints… cant imagine how many were stolen, probably all of them. made me want to put my hat on sideways and pull my wranglers down around my asscheeks.
Wow, that does look like a Hi-point lol. The gun shop I go to had a high point that only attracted a certain crowd. Needless to say that hi point was purchased by 9 different customers over the past months and every time the State Police would deny the customer sale of the weapon due to the background check haha.
That was P-Diddy with a Hi-Point! A lot of LEO’s in Texas still carry wheelguns, and are not too savvy on identifying SA handguns, just lumping them together with what they probably saw in a training film or display, or in a pawn shop in Killeen!
