Point of impact change?

I have a 50 yard zero sighted in on a carbine with an A2 flash hider. I want to swap to a muzzle brake. Will the POI change so that I have to resight the scope?

It could happen. Wouldnt take many rounds to verify your zero, so Id do it just to be safe.

More than likely not, but when changing anything I always recheck my zero.

I’ve had the POI shift on some swaps, but not on others. Your zero must always be verified.

How many rounds does it take to confirm zero? Even with ammo prices going up and supplies more limited it still pays to check your zero anytime you change something. If nothing else it will give you piece of mind that the zero is still okay.

Going from an a2 to a bi-loch has changed zero aprox 6" @ 50
