I was shooting my POF-416 today (with the Timney 3.5lb pack) and the trigger would “stick” after every shot, requiring a second or third trigger pull after the shot was off - before it would reset. Gun has ~1,000 rounds through it and I am stumped.
I just took the fire control apart and it was spotless!
Seems like the disconnect catches the hammer when the hammer is returned to cocked position…and it sticks. Only jiggling the trigger or fiddling with the safety seems to release the discconnect and allow for a trigger pull release.
This is my first Timney set up, seems very well made & simple, but are they not reliable or something? I will call Timney (adn/or POF) on Monday…I guess I am SOL for this weekend.
Mine has been flawless for the 700+ rounds so far.mine is the newest one ,the first ones had some issues. send it back they will fix or replace it free.
