I was looking for some advice for a slimmer shorter backpack Style of attachment for my plate carrier. Most I have found have been longer then the TAG banshee.
The ability to hold a hydration pack is a plus too.

Our PIG gRUNT small will only hang down about an inch on the banshee. Also, while not a backpack, the Emdom Vehicle Hydration carrier has lots of hidden pockets and boasts some pretty great capacity other than just a bladder.
If you want detachable/ packs with shoulder straps check out the first spear ECP, the Camelbak linchpin or almost anything by Kifaru or Mystery Ranch.

Another option is Tactical Tailor’s Removable Operators Pack. I have been a big fan of mine running off my Fight Light PC or MAV chest rig.

I’m late to the party but I just use a pack with its own straps over the PC. I don’t get why you want to add more weight/complexity to an already heavy PC. plus, you have to take everything off to get into the pack. am I wrong?
