This is from my usual concealed carry & includes the draw from the beep of my blue timer.
I meant to do it cold but had fired about 15 rounds of my reloads from 15 yds slow fire then remembered this drill.
I didn’t have a 5x5 or 5x3 card so i tore a piece of paper. It ended up being 3-3.25 in wide and 5.5 inches tall.
I was using my S&W M&P 2.0 .45 acp with handloads. 200 gr coated LFN that averages 1055 fps from this gun. It gets into +p territory, probably.
I ran it at 5 yds and got 3.44s on the timer. I saw split times of .35s. Which is what i usually see with hotter .45 acp loads at this close range. My draw to first A zone hits are typically 1.65s at 7 yds. More like 1.65s-1.75s cold to be honest, with reduced accuracy.
I only ran the drill once because i had alot of other testing / guns to shoot.

Good on ya for using what you actually carry every day. That’s what I did because that’s the true spirit of this.
Time-wise, you’re smokin’. Even with a 9mm, my splits on a “no fail” drill like this end up being in the .40-.50 range. If I’m at 5-7 yards going for a larger target like a big A or -0 zone I’ll be in the .25 range.

Yea, the difference between this drill and an IDPA A-Zone 2 yds further out is about 3/4 of a second for me.
That is, a Bill Drill from 7 yds and 6 shots into an A-Zone is 2.7-2.9s from the draw for me depending on the gun.
This drill was much slower even though it was 6 ft closer and one shot less because the target is so much smaller.
Know what drill i find really tough?
On the timer draw from concealment and hit a 6 inch plate. One shot. 25 yards. Repeat as desired. It either starts well and ends poorly or starts poorly and ends well. 
i actually hate the drill. Bill Drills are alot more fun in comparison!

Absolutely.
My best Bill on record is 2.64 clean, I’m usually in the 2.8-3.0 range for clean hits, or often with one just outside A/-0.
Yeah the 25 yard thing is like the Defoor Pistol Test 2. I finally cleaned that one a while back.
