From what Ive read the ATF is kinda screwed on this front. They can appeal but it will go to an appeals court that already sided with the brace guys.
Reading the judges ruling, it sound like the ATF is screwed IMO; based on numbers sold, impact to manufacturers, and ADA–figured that last one would get them.
It’s hard to say. The Supreme Court has already allowed the frames and receivers rule to stand (undoing a similar injunction) while it gets through the courts. We shall see what the ATF does but I would expect them to appeal it. Still, barring a change in the composition of the court I would expect the brace rule to ultimately fail on a number of grounds.

Clickbait or shit lawyer. The ATF’s approval isn’t conditioned on the long term status of the rule. The form refers to the approval conditions section at the end of the form. The conditions blank says that it was approved pursuant to the rule. Even if they went full retard and decided to withdraw approval, they would have to notify you, etc. You can’t be prosecuted for complying with their rule (pursuant to very long standing Supreme Court precedent). Furthermore, everyone should realize that the real plan here was to get a bunch of people to register their weapons (registration being their interim goal on the way to banning guns). They aren’t going to undermine compliance to prosecute a few folks who actually followed their rules.
My thoughts? Same thing I told my friend…I couldn’t care less. I never once took them off and none of the ranges I went to (I asked before I came) said they would treat them as being illegal. To think you could be sold a loaf of bread for 13 years and then one day the government just up and decides its a felony to buy and eat a loaf of bread is mind boggling.
With that being said they will never stop…So no this isn’t happy days. This is a victory barely worth mentioning because of the absolute corrupt government that has taken over due to Obama.
Don’t forget it was Trump that banned bump stocks.

I really think the Supreme Court will strike down and end this ATF brace bullshit once and for all. Hopefully they can see it’s all politically motivated by Joe Biden’s cluster**** Democrat administration. Really, first you could have a brace, then you couldn’t, then you could again and now you can’t again. Just like AR’s and other semi-auto rifles, there are way to many braces out there now in the hands of law abiding gun owners, both Republican and Democrat. MAGA IN 24 !!!
