I have a PIG plate carrier with elastic cummerbund and I really like it. I decided to get the molle covered side plate carrier to attach to the elastic cummerbund and I also ordered the 6x8 plates to go in it. So I put it all together and now the side plates extend out of the carrier by about two inches (though they are secure), but also ride high enough that I no longer can get out of the carrier by releasing one side of the carrier cummerbunds. The side plate now sits too close to my armpit so it’s not as easy to get off.
Has anyone else been in this predicament?
