FBI crime stats are exactly what he said. Violent crime has been steadliy falling in the U.S. since 90’ and we have firearms.
Violent crimes have tripled in ye’ ol’ marry loving England, because law abiding people dont have a way to protect themselves from stabbings and beatings.

This. My BIL told me to flip to CNN during the game. I had never seen Alex Jones before and only knew him at a nut job. So I saw this guy on Piers Morgan and was wondering who this lunatic was ranting at Piers. Yeah just what we need. Now Nugent, he ranted but in an acceptable way that was in character. Jones came across as our worst public relations nightmare.
I only watched it because Sheriff Joe was on there. He maintained his cool head as always.
Didn’t watch it…but you guys only give relevance to Alex Jones if you get upset about.

I just watched the video and based upon his hysterics, paranoia and combativeness could easily substitute any number of members here for that man.

Because regardless of what you think, there are quite a few people who think all gun owners are stupid inbred hicks. It doesn’t matter what he was trying to do, it was the perception by the viewers that he’s a raving lunatic and that Piers was being “civil”. That’s what many will take away from it.

Your basic premis of Jones is 100% correct, of course.
Reality tho…thank God, is so precious few watch this show, that IMO, very little “damage” has actually been done. This dudes show is consistently last on CNN. Only those who already agree with Morgan watch this tripe, so few, if any, opinions will be changed.
Myself…I am glad someone finally said it will be 1776 all over again, I just wish it were someone else saying it.
