I picked up a brand new LMT M4 Upper tonight that is complete less charging handle and bolt carrier. I have a spare charging handle but need to order a complete bolt carrier group. I looked at BCM and they have one for $139 by them or they have an LMT for $130. Is there any difference? Not that $9 is a big deal but is the BCM worth the extra money?
PS I got it CHEAP!!! So stoked!

Both are just fine. Last I checked (a couple days ago), the BCM was in stock, and the LMT wasn’t. That makes the choice pretty easy for me

LMT uses MIM keys
BCM uses steel keys
that’s the only difference, by accounts.
all the same, I almost always use LMT BCGs- i’ve used dozens of them and never had a single problem- so why change what works? i have used BCM and, more recently, Daniel Defense if LMT is out of stock.
they’re all great BCGs.
Either will work. I prefer the BCM auto carrier vs the LMT. The bolt is what’s important and both are good bolts.
