I figured goofy assed threads like these belong in GD.

Anyway, I finally rid myself of the accursed Taurus PT1911AR, realising that, no, Virginia, you can’t polish a turd…

At any rate I shopped some local stores today, scouting out my next purchase:

  1. S&W M&P 45
  2. Glock 21
  3. POF Gen III Lower & LPK

I’ve been dying to start a build, for quite some time. That being said, I’m wanting to replace the Taurus with a new side-iron.

I own a Midsized M&P45…As of today, it has 2100rnds down the pipe, and I’ve yet to have a failure of any kind. Trust me on this, buy the M&P45, you won’t regret it.

I am really happy with my M&P45. Especially now that it has a the Apex Sear and SSS Ti plunger. Dare I say it feels almost like a long 1911 trigger now. :eek:

Glock 21. Only because I want one, and we are talking about spending your money.

Although, the S&W would not be bad either.
