picatinny rail for bipod on a mcmillan stock?

anyone recommend a good picatinny rail kit to replace the swivel stud?

i already have an atlas bipod setup for a rail so i figure this would be the easier part to change.

i dont mind drilling for the rear hole in the stock but i would imagine i would need something that comes with a machine screw to replace the swivel stud with and a coarse wood style screw for the pilot hole that i will have to drill in the rear

Sure, easy day.
Seekins or Badger Ordance make a decent pic rail for bipod etc.

Note: Machine screw will not hold up to typical rigors & loads you will encounter in field. You will need to mount it using a “T Nut” (blind nut) to do it right for any real load span.

Check out Triad Tactical.

They have rail mounts and hardware. If your stock has 2 sling studs up front, you don’t have to modify anything.

If only one? You may have to inlet the sex bolt, t-screw, whatever kit.

it already has the front t-nut and installing the rear one looks plenty easy!

i got the atlas one since the badger one was out of stock everywhere. got it all through triad. thanks for the help!

As long as it doesn’t touch the barrel…

Good to hear SS is good people.

No worries ill be sure to countersink the t-nut plenty!
