Pic Request of Midwest Industries T12 on a Recce

I’m contemplating a MI T12 on my Recce build instead of a DD Lite 12.0. I like the clean look and best of all the price. I’d like to see other builds, recce or not with the MI T-series 1 piece FF rail. After seeing the BCM builds with MI rails I’m seriously considering the budget rail.

Looks good don’t it?

Just out of curiosity, other than a $130 difference in price, what does the MI rail bring to the table that the DD doesn’t?

My understanding is that, other than being cheaper, the MI rail is also heavier and wider. Of course, in the end it’s all about user preference regarding those two and the difference is only 1.4 oz.

If I had the money, I would probably buy the DD rail instead because it’s not quite as wide, has a really nice bolt up system that has been adopted by some SOCOM units (another positive from DD’s desire to continue to innovate in the AR world), and because DD has awesome customer service.

I purchased that same upper from bravo company about 2 months ago. If you go to the picture thread I posted a pic. I like the MI handguards. I have them on three of my builds. Don’t let other people sway your decision about MI handguards. I have buddies with Daniel Defense, Larue, etc… and while their all nice MI does the job just as good. While they are a little bit wider, I actually prefer that.

MI rails are a great product for the money. They lock up rock solid and are pretty nice looking considering there 100$ less than a DD or Larue.
