Apparently an enhanced ACR was seen at a carbine class in VA.

Good lookin rifle for sure! That must be that new +P+ 5.56 ammo I keep hearing about, the recoil knocked him and the barrel over! 
However, why the HELL the M4 barrel? I had a new FDE ACR on the line but I couldnt get anyone to buy it so I let it go. I still wouldnt mind one…
Everyone local dealer that has an ACR cant seem to move them. It’s a problem for sure. Sportsmans is blowing them out at damn near cost, and still cant move them.
Hopefully the enhanced model will help pick sales up, and Bushmaster will learn the folly of their ways.
It really was stupid to release the Basic model first.
It was stupid to ask alomst double what its worth too…
I think the price is an issue, but I believe lots of people are sitting on the sidelines because they know the better model is just around the corner.
Though, there is denying that $2200 for the basic is utterly laughable. Not quite as stupid as paying $10k for a SCAR, but stupid just the same.
$2000 for the Enhanced seems fair.

Buds has Basic Black for $1980 now and Coyote for $2083, keep it droppin!
Good looking rifle for sure but pricey.
While the enhanced model may fix some of these selling problems, having the name Bushmaster on this gun isn’t helping anything.
And that better model is the Remington version, not the enhanced Bushmaster.

THOSE are the problems, a basic with lightweight 1:7 would have sold.
He is shooting and weaving that’s why he ran into a drum, harder than it looks first couple times.
Number of problems with this gun that is an impediment to sales.
- The name Bushmaster
- Heavy front end caused by too bulky of a receiver, barrel locking mech, gas piston, and barrel profile
- Folding stock not standard
- Remington showing different lowers, giving the impression the Remington is higher end
- MBUS sights on the Bushmaster
- Troy sights on the Remington
Until all this gets fixed, nobody serious is going to buy one. Bushmaster needs to be dropped completely from this rifle.
Don’t sugar coat it tell us how you really feel. Although not for everyone, I personally like mine. The way I see it…Man up or buy something else. Have a nice day.

I was itching for the ACR for a long time before Bushy finally released it. My criteria for my next rifle was simple. It needed to be durable, minute of beast accurate, gas piston with multiple settings, reasonably priced, and have a 6.8 cal conversion ( for hunting ). I was hopeful the ACR would be that next rifle. The ACR at this point has almost none of those qualities going for it ( although it is durable from some of the reviews I have read here ), much to my disappointment.
They do have one thing going for them. I can make it NY legal very easy.
Some people called it when the deal was first announced.
Bushmaster has shown complete ineptitude on the ACR launch, and it remains to be seen if BM is savvy enough to right the ship.

Get the price down to $2000 tops for the enhanced, and $1500 for the basic

this guy appear to have cannibalized his ACR barrel components and gas system to install on a DD hammer forge 1:7. Shot it at the range about an hour ago, says it works fine.
According to information posted in an AAR for that class he had lots of problems with the rifle.
