Hey guys I don’t know if this thread will work here in Tac. Gear but I need to know if anyone knows how to attach a Pheonix Junior IR Beacon (budd light) to the helmet band of an ACH. Any info would help thanks.
Is there supposed to be a specific method? We used to tape them or use velcro. You could also use a small ziptie as well I suppose.
we used to tape them to our camo band or wedge them into the cover.
but usually we just found it easier to tape IR chemlights to our armor’s drag handle, break just before the mission.
we had fireflies and pheonix beacons, but i cant for the life of me recall our method for attaching them, but i know we usually just went with the easier IR chemlight method.

I was also issued the Phoenix IR beacon but we also used IR Chemlights instead of the beacon.
