Permanently Attached Flash Hider/Muzzle Break?

If you get a 14.5 barrel with a permanently attached flash hider/muzzle break (soldered and pinned) can it be removed without damaging barrel and swapped out with another that is is permanently attached?

For example switching a Phantom to a Vortex?

ADCO Firearms will do this. The device being removed will be sacrificed.

I’ve got one at ADCO right now having that exact thing completed. Vortex for the extended A-2. I had a gas block issue as well was why I did it. It’s not cheap, but I think they are very fair for everything they do. I had them remove the A-2, install an F front site base to replace an out of spec YH folding sight/gas block, put on a vortex permanently, and re park it all. I believe it was 2 bills. Hopefully I’ll get some of that back over the YH issue.

Thanks

Dremel and split method works.

I use a milling machine to cut away at the pin/weld when removing perm. mounted flash hiders. On some ArmaLites I’ve used a lathe.
