Has anyone seen this issued/used in the wild? Am told certain LE units have selected it but can find no credible info to verify.

Interesting indeed. Brent is in TX as I recall, and the pattern seems to work exceptionally well near or far, sun or in shadow. Thanks much for the links!
The pattern works extremely well, and is even a year round option here in SC. The biggest issue is availability. It pretty much has to be ordered from overseas.
