Pencil Barrels in SBR's???

I like the 10.5" for mainly suppressed with the shorter OAL, and the 12.5" as a more general purpose carbine. I’ve skipped over the 11.5" and never had much interest in one, heavy buffers and O-ring or HD extractor springs have made the 10.5" just as reliable in my opinion.

Pappabear and I dropped into USAutoweapons, here in Scottsdale. And these guys have several Heavy Barrel Colt SBR 11.5s in 1/9 twist.

The ridiculous part is that they want over $2100 for them. The counter guy said “they’ve been here a while”

Still can’t figure out why those guys would price a gun at a premium that has exactly what people DON’T want.

Damn straight. You have to be a fo real operator to lug that heavy shit around. When I can manage to pry myself outa my la-z-boy and go shoot, weight is a major consideration for my walk from the truck cab to the tailgate. I cant be gettin all tired and stuff because Im sure the kids are going to want me to play when I get home. Lightweight for me.
