Sorry if there’s a better place for this but I couldn’t find a place to discuss deals.
Not sure how long this will last so if you’re interested act quickly. For reference Amazon.com has these for $74 shipped as of this post and retail is $90.
The price is going to be about $40 if you don’t have/use Paypal but still a killer deal.
First, go to Home Depot and add these to your cart for $49.97. Add a filler item that’s at least $0.04 to get the order over $50 before tax/shipping. In your cart, click the option to add a promo code and use the code PROAPP50 which is a code that says you get $10 off of $50 for buying through the app but as of this post it works just fine from a web browser (Chrome for me) on the standard Home Depot website. Make sure you use all caps and it’s exactly as I have typed it.
Now, if you have/use Paypal, go to this link and activate the $5 off of $25 coupon which I think expires today. This one also says you need to install the Paypal app and shop from the app to get the $5 off but if you simply check out on the web browser as described and use Paypal after activating this coupon you should see the $5 in your Paypal account transaction details once the payment posts.
That’s it! $90 Peltor 100 electric ear pro for ~$35 or so.
A $.12 screw was the cheapest I could easily find so after tax it came out to $36.98. Good deal, thanks. Anybody know if these are compatible with the gel muffs?
The only reason I didn’t list a specific filler item was because I know that many people will have something inexpensive in mind they can add to the order to get it above $50 which is better than wasting a dime on something they don’t need. In your case, the wasting of the dime was worth it since it qualified you to get the deal. I can’t speak first-and of the differences between these and the gel muffs but I would guess that maybe those are more comfortable? How much so though I don’t know as I’ve used some pretty crappy electric ear pro in the past for hours and didn’t feel as though the discomfort warranted spending a large amount of money on something else. I’m probably the wrong person to ask about that but maybe someone else will come along that can speak on that topic.
Thanks for the links. I had wanted something good to use while while on the tractor, this should be just the ticket. I needed another cutoff wheel for the grinder anyway so that rounded it up.
The paypal deal didn’t seem to work for me but overall a good deal. I didn’t really need another set but this was hard to pass up. Thanks for the heads up.
*It turns out the paypal deal did work but didn’t show up until I got the emailed receipt. Even better deal.
OK, there wasn’t a promo code option on the site so I ordered through the App and it worked! I had to pay Kali taxes but it’s still a great deal!!! Thanks!
