I came across one of these and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this flashlight. It comes with a rail mounting kit and tail cap pressure switch.
I’m using a pelican light on a M-4 setup.I got mine from Botach tactical, and like you said it came with the regular tail cap along with the corded tailcap. I like the light alot very bright and it dosen’t eat batteries like some of the other lights that I’ve used.I’m using a mount that I got from YHM,very durable and inexpensive.
I have several incandescent Pelican lights. I have a pair of M3s on my house gun. I carry a PM6 all the time for utility use (replacing it with an inexpensive Chinese light with a Cree LED tomorrow).
The metal Pelican lights are great gear. They’re brighter than their SureFire counterparts (9V and 6V) and come standard with a clicky tailcap switch. I hope that someday someone makes a drop-in Cree LED unit (like they do for SureFire lights).
I have used a Pelican M6/LED for the past 2 years and it’s great. I definitely recommend them.
