This product allows you to store a spare AR mag behind other equipment (pistol mags) on your duty belt. It looks promising.

It is said to accommodate 20 and 30 rnd USGI, PMAG or Lancer’s.

It looks like a lot of weight in one spot.

I tried on for awhile and didn’t like it. Not only is there the extra weight issue, it forces your mag pouch out quite a bit. It seems like a nice idea but just didn’t work well for me.

FWIW, if you do use it a 20 round Pmag is the way to go, much easier to get out over the GI mag.
