I have this Paratrooper FAL for sale. It is built on an IMBEL reciever with and Argentinian border gaurd para kit. I have full spring kit still in the heat sealed bag for it. For buyers outside of the Peoples Democratic Republic of California, or Law Enforcement, I also have 5 each 20 magazines like the one in the picture. The gun is currently in “California Legal” status, which could be easily rectified by anyone L/E or out of this state.
I currently have it on consignment at a local dealer for the freshly lowered price of JUST $1400 (or $2000 after Obama’s Inaguration). Contact me if interested and we’ll work out the details.

That’s very nice!
Try posting it on Calguns.net as well, probably some bites there.
Yeah… Thanx for the suggestion, I just might do that.
With Obama now the elected president and the threat of serious gun control on our horizon I am debating on whether to keep it, or maybe raise the price so I can stock up on a bunch of ammo before that gets banned.
bump… Get em now before Obama gets them all banned.
Price Lowered !!! See above…

All metric? How does it shoot with para stock, looks uncomfortable, though not as much as the HK
To be California compliant it has a machine set screw threaded throught the right side of the magazine well into a detent in the magazine release button. If you are not in California all it will take is 5 seconds and an allen wrench to remove and you are back to normal.
I built it… I am LEO and have built many guns, this one being my most favorite build.
The rifle was built on a brand new IMBEL (METRIC) reciever using a parts kit which came from a disassembeled Argentinian Border Guard rifle. As you might guess “Border Guards” dont see much action, and the bore is very good.
The gun shoots great, and if it doesnt sell before our new president bans the sale of, I will be happy to keep it. I am simply choosing to sell it to focus my resources on my LEO work AR platforms.
The finnish… it was thoroughly cleaned, primered and then painted with the military issue tan spray paint. The finnish has held up well.
It is on consignment with Cold War Shooters in Highland California. I am sure they can handle the transfer, you would just need to call them and make the shipping and payment arrangements. Their phone number is (909)425-1300 and they are generally open after 1100 hrs PST.
Would a closeup of this machine screw CA compliant device be possible?
No… the gun is at a store right now on consignment. If you look at the posted picture you see the right side of the magazine well where it drops down at the rear end. This is where the magrelease button is and the screw was installed in through the right side of the mag well lip. The picture was taken before installation of this screw, so just imagine a small (1/4") black dot on the lower rear corner of the right mag well lip.
Hope that helps…
