Interesting stuff. I wonder why they used the word “fired”? To me, that implies that Pappas was kicked out of the company for poor performance or some other problem. From reading the letter, however, it seems like it was more of a mutual disagreement on how the company should be run, and that Pappas left.
Maybe it’s just semantics, but fired connotes something different to me. I also might not know the whole story, of course.
I believe Gary Hughes left as well.
I doubt their talent will sit idle.
