costco guys when I asked if they asked customers why they said people afraid of biden as pres and his shut down ?
costco guy had the same look I did hahahahahaha

Ahh shit. I better stock up

YUP lota crap happening

I would think being Kirkland you have a inside line to all ya want at costco

Surprisingly, I’ve never been a Cosco member. I used to skip class and go there for pizza a lot though back in the day when I was going to Lake Wa tech :dance3:

Lol ok! The great meat shortage of the spring of 2020! I remember it like it was yesterday. meat processing facilities with sick and dying workers, lines for days, people knifing each other on line for the last can of spam. Those were scary times indeed! Barely survived May! Oh… wait… despite all the speculations meat was in abundance, costco had a crazy sale on pork loins. My local supermarket had a killer sale on beef brisket and prime rib. I’m talking $1.99 lb, pork butt 99 cents/lb. Tons of meat, fish canned meat…etc…

YUP I hope it does not happen again ? around here was stupid though the limits and so on ?

Limits? None here. I’m lying, there was a limit on tp, sanitizer, water and probably a few minor things I’m forgetting. However, I still don’t need to buy tp and haven’t since before the lockdowns. Neither water or sanitizer

I just bought a nice big pack of TP. Shelves looked like they were already starting to be picked over. Last time there was no TP on the shelves, or paper towels. Staples like flour, rice, pasta, potatoes, all quickly disappeared as well.

was more shocked it was happening AGAIN
if ya go into any stores this week will be interesting if its local or what just the TP meat seems OK this time

I picked up some just last week. Topped off my supply and rolled on home.

Yeap, I went to the store for dinner stuff last night and there were folks with armloads of TP and paper towels under their arms and in their buggies…

I can’t figure this out. It will be at least January 21st before Punch Drunk Joe locks down the country to save us all from Covid.

Were these people that are cleaning out the tp shelves the same ones that voted for the democrats?

I was in that same supermarket yesterday afternoon and walked around a little. Didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. The briskets that were on sale again for the last 2 weeks were finally gone. Crab legs went down in price! A small sale on chicken thighs. I didn’t look too hard, just had to pick up something and this is what I noticed on my way to that isle

Probably. One side of the brain doesn’t know what the other side is doing or thinking.

Left side… orange man bad!!!
Right side…aaaahhh lockdowns…aaaaaahh…omg!!! We’re all gonna wipe our asses with something other than tp and starve to death while social distancing in our homes…aaaahh! Where can I get a mask for my hamster and goldfish!!! Sky is falling!!!

I’ll be honest. TP shortages scare me. We’ve got a family of 6 with another one on the way. 4 girls. You know how quick we go through tp?

And it’ll be the guys in the house left with nothing.

Paper towels, newspaper, magazines, shovels/burn barrel!

Please tell me you are not on a septic tank.

Definitely not.

I lived out in the sticks and on a septic tank, My Sister and her four Daughters would come visit and jack it up every time.
I think they were flushing sheep sized wads of toilet paper every five minutes the whole time they stayed.
