Has anyone run into a problem with the PALS/Molle loops on a vest or pack not being properly aligned and thereby causing problems when attaching pouches?
Yes, in manufacturers where problems are more likely.
Who made it?
Before I mention their name, claiming a manufacturing problem with the loops, I’ve ordered pouches from several other companies (Blackhawk, Emdom, ATS Tactical and Spectre Gear). I’d like to make sure it wasn’t a problem with the pouch I was trying to attach. If the other pouches don’t attach properly, then I’ll contact the manufacturer.
I never buy Blackhawk anymore for 2 reasons: 1, it’s made in Viet Nam. 2, their molle/pals alignment on their pouches looked like Helen Keller sewed them together on Acid.
Buying from good companies will usually solve your problems.
I don’t own any Blackhawk products or connected with them but they are shifting more production to the U.S.
Ya, I’m still not interested. I’ll sick with companies who never sold us out in the first place. Gear worn by American Troops/LE/Contractors should be Made in USA not made by a former enemy sold on a website with American Flags all over the place.
AFAIK, this is to service their Berry Amendment compliant gear and some of the hunting gear.
