Anyone watch it? Simply fantastic IMHO! I think Biden is going to get his ass handed to him in their debate.

It was a good speech. She handled herself well and delivered it well, and she threw a few punches too.
It will likely be the highlight of the convention.
So far I believe Palin is doing fine…but there’s still a long way to go and there’s every indication that the left is going to absolutely savage her for the forseeable future. What they are going to do to Sarah Palin is going to make the treatment George Bush and Dick Cheney have gotten in the last 8 years look like love taps.
They are going to try to destroy her. If McCain actually wins, she becomes a logical successor. The Democrats wouldn’t be able to handle having the first female President be a gun-totin’, moose guttin’, conservative. (Somewhere a “women’s studies” professor just broke into tears)
Mrs. Palin has a mighty tough road ahead of her. I hope she and her family are strong…if not, this is going to grind them into powder.
After the speech I turned to my wife and said ~ " two things I am sure of; the Dems are shitting their pants about right now, and every gun-toting, hunting , red-blooded American man is ready to leave his wife for Sarah Palin". That got a good laugh from my wife. Seriously, she did a fantastic job. She didnt stutter or stumble, she spoke clearly with intent, and was very confident, and dang she’s hot…
What really pisses me off is how obvious it is that the mainstream media is slanted towards Obama. Its f-ing sick how biased and hypocritical they really are.
Agree. The upcoming months will really tell us what she is made of. I have a feeling though that she is made of iron and will stomp a mud hole in the pansy liberals. ![]()
May GOD give her strength to overcome what is before her.

Agreed.
By picking Palin, McCain’s “old age and treachery” has shone through, he completely trumped Barry with a wise and shrewd choice.
Now, I think Obama’s gonna get his a$$ handed to him in November.
I, oddly enough, disagree. I think the left shot their bolt early and will have little to throw at her. I predict they will recycle their attacks and I agree they will keep fighting, but I doubt it will be anything we haven’t heard.
I read the “Trooper-gate” email excerpts and I’m having a hard time believing that will stick. There doesn’t seem to be any “there” there. If you follow my reference.

I’m guessing this morning that Obama wished Jesse Jackson would have cut his nuts off. At least then, the brutal kicks Sarah gave him last night wouldn’t have hurt so much :D.
She did a FANTASTIC job!
very wise choice from McCain.
Very good speech, delivered very well.
McCain’s probably won’t be as good as Palin’s was.
I was definitely overall impressed.
The media, the bloggers, and the D party will continue to attack just to attack at their own peril. We will get to see if there are any adults on that side of the aisle very quickly.
Why do I say they do it at their own peril? Part of it is the “flyover country’s” sense of fair play. We do not like it when the game is broken by cheaters. Having the media, who are supposed to be the referees/unbiased observers on the side of one of the players is cheating in most folks books.
Another is we can see the women in our lives in Mrs. Palin. We can identify her as having a life that mirror’r at least slightly ours. Run a company and have to pick your daughter up at soccer, keep 20+ construction workers under her thumb, be a widow who retires a millionaire. We project her making those decisions and ending up doing them the same as ours have. We expect women to be strong and capable.
These lead to the final one, which is pure human nature. We ‘whitebread male voters’ identify her with our ‘wimmin folk’ and ‘bitter…clingers’ do not like ours attacked unfairly. This can be called sexist but hard to argue with, it was my sister who came up with it; mentioning a few things that need not be on the Intarweb, and she said it with familial pride. We expect women to take care of themselves, but have nothing against putting those who have done wrong in severe pain and fear.
The left is heading towards that result if they continue being whack-jobs. Causing them the pain of getting crushed at the ballot box may not be as viscerally satisfying of some hilljack responses, but as they love being the government it might be more painful for them long term.
She did very well. As for her being 2nd in line for POTUS, if she eventually became President, I would have absolutely no problem with that. McCain did very well picking her for VP.
ditto. don’t want to sound crass, but i muttered something like “VPILF”
to my wife last night.
my ribs are still pretty sore.
I am very proud of McCain’s choice. Sarah is going to make a GREAT VP.
I hope MSNBC’s off mic bashing of Sarah doesn’t just get swept under the rug. The media doesn’t like here…and she said last night
that she doesn’t like them.
She is a pit bull with lipstick!!
I thought she did a great job, also. She’s sassy. No doubt there is a very tough fight still ahead her, though. I expect the Hillary camp to come out hard against her, because if McCain-Palin wins, 2012 could become Palin vs. Clinton – and that would throw a big hitch in Hillary’s gitty-up.
That’s PERFECT!!!
Amen! I wasn’t going to vote McCain, no how, no way. But that has changed. I identify Palin with my own wife and her political philosophy is very much in line with mine. They will get my vote. It may be only one mind changed, but I’m hoping I’m not alone.
The left is heading towards that result if they continue being whack-jobs.
Unfortunately, Pravda US will continue down this road and continue to widen the divide in this nation even further. The Marxists who co-opted the Democrat Party in the late sixties are visceral and will use any means to secure their control. Unfortunately, they are lacking in any serious convicition, so they won’t do us the favor and start shooting so that we could kill them all and get on with building this nation.
Causing them the pain of getting crushed at the ballot box may not be as viscerally satisfying of some hilljack responses, but as they love being the government it might be more painful for them long term.
I would tend to agree.
and since this is m4carbine dot net …
this thread would be worthless without pics.
haha.
i’m in love.

Sarah Barracuda for a reason.
Dems are now going to go all out to attack her as if the end of the world is imminent, but I do not see how they can sink much lower, and she has shown she can take it and go on the offensive.
Rudy was excellent also.
They just need to stay on message, the more people learn of Palin, the more they like, the more they learn about BHO the more they dislike. Time is NOT on his side.
Lets be real, BHO is a joke. ANY DEMOCRAT is better than he is. ANY DEMOCRAT. And they know it. He is a do-nothing with no record and that really can’t be defended. So the Repubs just need to keep pointing out that he has NO ACCOMPLISHMENTS at all.
It is almost like the Lieberman election. During the Primary Dems wanted to send a message. They did. They nominated a a guy with promises and no results. Problem is Hillary is not running as an Independent like Lieberman did and they are stuck with their choice.
+1. Luv her.
