Saw this on sportsman’s guide where they had 250rd cans for 49.99 I believe was the price.
Yay or nay?
I try to stick to a hard and fast rule that keeps me out of trouble.
Avoid surplus ammo from the 3rd World.
If they piss in their drinking water, you don’t want their ammo.
I have not heard good things about above said ammunition. I was curious and asked around as well.
Ok, that is roughly $200 per thousand for old, corrosive ammo from a third world country.
I can get new Winny White Box at Wallyworld for less than $220 per thousand.
You give me $20 and I will kick you in the nuts.
Trust me, it is a much better deal.
What SG wants for that crap ammo is stupid considering it is corrosive and questionable vintage + parentage.
I saw some of this at a local gun shop recently, and they were asking $330 per 1000 rds .
The headstamp was 1977, and the ammo looked like it had been stored on the bed of a pickup truck for 30 years prior to importation. Given the experiences I’ve had with Pakistani .303 (duds, numerous hangfires, undercharged rounds), I’d avoid this ammo. YMMV.
I have personal experience with this ammo. It’s got about a 10% dud rate. Stay away.

Thanks for the advice.
