say you had some tan/khaki nylon gear and wanted it a little darker. could you use some spray paint - like on platsic - to darken it up a little?
anyone had success with this? suggestions? maybe show some examples of how the work turned out.

Cordura soaks up a lot of paint. It is a good way to get your darks lighter and vice versa, though. If you want to break up the pattern, lay some mesh (like on a laundry bag) over the piece. I’d post some pics, but I’m on the road right now.
I have this Kifaru multicam pod, thats this green color that I don’t like.
I sprayed it with a bit of Krylon tan and a lot of ( now discontinued :mad: ) Krylon medium brown
the paint does crack and break, but it let’s some green come through, giving it that ‘camo’ look;)
