I’m interested in building an SBR rifle and have been doing some research about how to legally do so. The best route I can see is to create a corporation and purchase the weapon under that corporations name. This eliminates the need to get a signature from a CLEO in my area and speeds the whole process up.
What I don’t know is will I be the owner of the SBR or will the corporation be? What are the legal issues if any when purchasing firearms through a corporation and possessing them in a vehicle (with carry license) ? If I am already self employed can I purchase the SBR through my LLC?
