You know, I think Littlelebowski was right - you really just need to get your own blog, rather than wasting bandwidth with this stuff…
We need to pay down the national debt, However necessary. Slash federal spending at all levels in every capacity. Then, when we’re in the black as a nation, we should pass a constitutional amendment forbidding the Federal government from going into debt except in times of war and for purposes of fighting said war (Federal spending would freeze on non-military expenditures in times of war, excepting adjustments for inflation).
I’d also tax on that no federal employee’s salary, income, bonus, etc. from the fed could exceed that of the average employed US citizen. Working for the government shouldn’t be a position of luxury or great financial reward compared to that of an average private sector job. It would also give the government a great incentive to improve the economy.

Dont we have rules?
The question at hand is what do we do about Medicare, social security, Medicaid, welfare, and Obamacare.

We need to have an adult discussion like adults. Otherwise all that will be left for my generation, my kids and grand kids is slavery to this debt.
Here is the article:
President Obama’s budget will raise the federal debt-to-GDP ratio to 80.4% in two years, about double its level at the end of 2008, and a larger percentage point increase than Greece from the end of 2008 to the beginning of this year.
…For every one percentage point increase in interest rates above this projection, interest costs rise by more than $100 billion
Same complaint here. 500, please don’t start this again. Most of the stuff you post is interesting but don’t carpet bomb the GD with new threads.

It’s like deja vu all over again.
He should either keep all his stuff confined to ONE thread, or…gasp… get a blog.
