This is my first post here, I tried several searches but came up empty.
I have some promo materials for Otis 'LifeLiner", a “nano-ceramic fusion lifetime gun bore liner”. I may be new here, but I did NOT just fall off the ammo truck. Has anyone here every heard of/tried/used/formed an opinion about this stuff? Their web site is all excited about it, but that is from the advertising department.

You might need to use Nanolube on it.
To be honest most folks on this and the other AR forums consider it a waste of $$ and absolute crap. To date I have not read about anyone using it on their guns but would be extremely interested to hear “real stories” not advertising hype.
wont the nano-diamonds abrade the nano-ceramic fusion layers? that would be my chief concern

Sleuth, I dont know about the Otis stuff but it sounds a lot like Nanolube. Try a search for that. There was a long thread about it a while back and when you read it you will understand why everyone is making fun of the product.
