Orion Arms....awesome

So I just got my lower reciever back, I had my info engraved as its being assembled for SBR. This guy does awesome work.

I first contacted him about two weeks ago via Email. I had a reply later that night. I also had a few more questions and had prompt respones.
In the last Email I sent him was a question regarding price and shipping info and turn around time.
I was informed it would be 2 to 3 weeks, I again received a reply later that day, the price for engraving (I had mine done above right hand side FCG) was $35 + $15 for return shipping w/ insurance.

He also does complete lowers for $16 return shipping with insurance. I mailed my stripped lower with money order, a week later I recieved a phone call verifying my return address was correct before he shipped it…that was on the 13th, I recieved my lower today,
thew 17th.

I called him to give him some feedback on how happy I am with his work, actually, FIRST I told him I recieved my lower and my name was spelled incorrectly, I heard rustling of papers and stammering before I told him what a good job he did:D

He says I will be charged an extra $10 for ruining his underwear hahaha. He was a good sport about it.

If you guys want a good engraver, shoot him an Email. Very VERY good work.

No pics?

Im doin that as we speak lol

I just got done assembling it. Not more than 5 min ago.

I concur. Had a local trophy shop do it while I waited - looks very sharp but basically just cut through the anodizing - not deep enough as far as I could tell.

Sent it off to Orion and they engraved the front of the magwell and blacked it out - looks professional and you can’t even see it unless you look close or feel it. Should have had them do it in the first place.

Looks good brother. My stripped Noveske lower from DSG just got back to my ffl from Keith Norman at NFA investments, I haven’t had a chance to go get it yet but his turn around time was fast. I paid $65 with return shipping and he got it done and shipped back out the same day he received it.

Thanks man. Very cool. SAME DAY! Thats awesome. Im got the Noveske from DSG also. Those guys are awesome too. Mark does a very good job. I just wanted to tell you guys about Orion. I see alot of threads about engraving

Looks great! You forgot the Ñ for CAÑON…:haha:

Lol thanks. I wasnt even about to make the little accent above the N.
Where you go shooting at? Red canon or Royal gorge gun range

Orion did two of my SBR’s underneath the trigger guard.
He does great work.

They did my SBR on the front of the mag well.

Good work, good price, fast turn around.

If I need future engraving they will be top of my list.

I almost did mine there. Ryan is very good about answering Emails/questions with a very good response time. When I talked to him he told me that he doesnt advertise, its all word of mouth. I wanted to post this thread and tell everyone how good he is, not to mention fast. Im glad to hear everyone else has had a good experience

From one Dane to another, that looks good. Someday I will live in a free state and have my own SBR…Someday…

I wonder if he doesn’t advertise in order to keep his lead times down.

+1 For Orion Arms. I had them do a PS90 and a Colt 9MM AR. Both top notch! Very fast and well priced!

Another one for Orion Arms, extremely fast turn around, it looks great, now if I can get my tax stamp back as fast as Orion Arms does their work I would be one happy man!!

Does anyone know the web link for another company besides Orion that offers the engraved dust cover over the ejection port? I saw it a few days ago but didn’t save the link. They had little sayings like “Infidel” or “Molan Labe” on the cover and they were really cheap like $15.

Have you asked Orion? He might do laser etching. Shoot him an Email tomorrow…youll get a reply by the end of the day

I agree that Orion does good work. He did my SBR engraving inside the trigger guard area as well as other markings on my Izzy 653 clone.
