Are there any rails that can be attached to my standard m4 handguards that can I can attach forearm grips or other options?
Yes. MI makes a piece of rail that you can attach to the bottom or top of your standard handguards.

Or perhaps the shorter version?

Bravo seem to be out of stock on both, but I’m sure someone has them.
One other option might be to use a set of magpul MOE plastic handguards. They are designed to have rails mounted to them as needed.
They will preserve the light feel that is lost when you mount a fully railed handguard.
I bought a set for my 10.5" LMT upper and they work great. And at about $27, they won’t break the bank.

The MI rails are GTG! They mount to the standard handguards well and are even more versatle with the MOE’s which allow for a greater number of mounting positions and are designed for use with such rails and accessories.
A light on the standard handguards should be no problem, but I might be a little leary of mounting a VFG on them.

I have one gun with a light attached to a piece of rail on the handguard, no issue there.
Attaching a VFG to a standard set of handguards has never turned out well in my observation.
Do you mean the MI-02?
yeah, guess so…
Also recently saw these:
inexpensive and light weight.
