Optic Sharing Help

I want the ability to swap an Aimpoint and a Zeiss 3-9 back and forth between my AR and my 10/22. This necessitates the use of a riser on the AR15 receiver (fine.) Here is what I’m currently doing (YHM 1/2" riser blocks + Warne “high” rings). The Zeiss is correct on the AR, but a little high on the 10/22. Also, the M2 in the QRP mount is too high on the 10/22:

I called Larue and they recommended their LT-101 riser (5/8) with the LT-661 T-1 mount (low). I’m fine with swapping the M2 to a T-1 as I view that as an upgrade. The only problem I have (besides spending all that money) is that the T-1 will be at Absolue Co-witness height on the AR. I already have a T-1 in an LT-660 (lower 1/3) mount on another AR and I like that pretty well. I’m not sure if I’ll like the Absolute Co-witness height.

Thoughts?

Isn’t that what the riser is going to achieve?

Riser + low mount = absolute cowitness. I’m afraid it will be too low compared to the lower 1/3 I’m used to.

ah I was thinking it was a standard absolute co witness mount not the lower than that one.
