Im guessing all 5.56 OPS can use the same break and collar?
Where the hell can I find one? ADCO, BCM and Rainier are out. Im guessing the Mk12 clone fad is soaking them up?

Like crossgun says, contact Ron. Yes they use the same brake but there are a couple of different collars. My M4 profile AR uses a different collar from the other setups I have yet all can use the M4S, 14th, 15th and 16th Ops cans.

Would you happen to know if it will clear a DD Lite 10 rail on a 12.5" barrel. I think Ron said 2.25 on a 15th but couldnt remember the 16th.
Quick question on these collars. If I perm attach an Ops Inc flash hider, can I get the collar later and mount it as I take the can on and off or does the collar go on before the flash hider is permanently attached? Never had a can before and am unsure of how they mount.
The collar needs to mounted before the flasher hider or brake…depending on which you choose. Once your setup is done there is no way to remove the collar without removing the flasher hider/brake. Here are some pics of my M4 setup with the Ops brake/collar and 15th model silencer.
Thanks for the info.! How does the brake perform without the can? Does it do anything to reduce muzzle hop or recoil? Is it much louder than the flash hider?
It does help with muzzle hop and recoil. The brake is very loud without the can. I don’t have any experience with the Ops flash hider so I cannot comment on it. I chose to use brakes on my AR’s because the brake takes some of the abuse and reduces the wear that the blast baffle would normally receive using a flash hider.

The muzzles devices you mentioned are the only three I know of. As for different collar models or varations, I know I have three different ones. A few years ago ADCO had a picture on their website of several different collars.
The 16th is my favorite 5.56 suppressor. I love mine.

Like I said I was contemplating the 15th but after talking to Ron I’m looking at the 16th now. Same price, only a bit longer and better sound reduction.
Right - I was looking at the 16th, and after talking to him elected to go for the 14th - so definitely to each his own.
But the 14th, 15th and 16th use the same brake/collar spacing, but the 12th is the same collar but wider spacing between the collar and brake, correct?
Yes, the M4S, 14th, 15th and 16th models use the same spacing. The collar position for the 12th model is just a little further back.

Accuser is dead on - though there are spacers allowing the 16/15/14th/M4S to be used on on a host set up for the 12th.
