OPS 16th barrel clearance

Hey all.

Im trying to get all the parts together for my SBR for when my form 1 gets back.

After taking with Ron at OPS Ive decided on the 16th for my 12.5" barrel. Would anyone know if the collar would clear a DD Lite 10 or should I get the MK18 RISII at 9.5" to be safe? All barrel profiling and such to done by Steve at Adco.

I know the accuser and some other here have them.

The 9.5" will work; 10" is right on the edge (compare to an 11.5" and 9.0 rail)

I had essentially the same question, then decided to get a rail that could have the can inside it (the DD M4 rails have a just-large enough ID for that)

Ask Steve. He knows these cans very well and will do you right.

I’d go 9.5" for wiggle room.

TehLlama: I see what you mean with the M4 rails. I found a few people using the Larue rails which are a similar shape with no issues.

Jason: About the same amount of clearance would be needed with the AAC SPR but not the 1000 and 2000, correct?
