Opinions on what I should do on the MSAR E4

I’m definately putting $ down on a MSAR AUG type this weekend, which route I should take has been compelling. I really would like to start out on the optics version and possibly upgrade the stock to the E4 so I can take advantage of all my Pmags. But nobody has the E4 optics gun in stock…

So, should I get the STG 556 w/optic from buds ($1088) and get the stock and/or rail seperately or go with the E4 rail gun and get an optic (RX30 or ELCAN RD) seperately in the $400 range. I really don’t need all the rails on the E4 but I do want the original look of the AUG with the optic.

How much is the E4 stock seperately and what’s the difference between the last model STG and the E4 besides all the rails?

Sorry, I know I’ve posted alot of topics on the MSAR this past few weeks but I’m definately getting one, after finding out the price of the ACR. I want to take advantage of the low prices now.

If I get the STG556 with optic from Buds, it’s $1088 + the stock. If I get the E4 rail gun, it’s $1350 w/ 5 mags + $400 for an optic.

Lastly, where is a good, or the best AUG and AUG clone site to sign up for and research?

I bought the MSAR E4 earlier this month and if you have AR rifles and AR mags it only makes sense to buy the E4. Why have to buy more mags that only fit the one gun? I suggest you contact Rat Worx and place one on order if they are out of them. I am sure they will be getting more very soon. Their sale pricing is going to continue for a while so you won’t be missing out. I went with an E4 optic gun and am very happy I did. If you decide you don’t want the optic you can buy a rail and just bolt it down. The optic is worth around $350 so for only $50 more its a real bargain.

Yea, I asked them about that very option. They said they’d put me on the list but they don’t know if they’re getting any more optic guns. I’d much rather go the optic gun route and get the stepdown rail and it would make a good red dot like the RX30 or Elcan more appealing at a later date…then again…I don’t wanna miss out on the deal! I hope what they were saying is maybe just a sales ploy.

I would have no idea why they would not get anymore optic guns, they sold them out and MSAR still makes them. I suggest you give MSAR an email directly and ask them what the status of them is. I emailed them and got a response in a couple of hours and they got me hooked up with Rat Worx.

I am considering one of these as well. If I do it will be the railed version as I have a big ass head and the scope is a hair too low… lol
I just need to track down a tan one with rails…

We are currently sold out of all of our factory optics in both heights. We will look at producing a different optic in the future but it will be a ways down the road. We currently are just producing our rifles with top rails.

WOW I am pretty surprised that they are not making them anymore. I am glad I got mine when I did. You know everything in life is for sale for the right price lol.
